[Newgrounds vs Deviantart]

I didn't like it, the animation and visuals were way to rough around the edges, the concept and jokes were pretty direct, not much wit to it, etc. Overall it felt childish, but I'm assuming you are young, so it's fine and completely understandable... I am old as balls, so I am of course not your main audience.

Anyways I hope you keep hooked up on this animation thing, work on it, develop your style, stories, etc. make it a more personal work and let's see what you can come up with if you give it time!

Beautiful! I had not been back to newgrounds in several years, everytime i was mildly tempted the front page "spoofs" turned me away. Today I decided to have faith and explore further, and it payed off.
Great animation, super stylish, great music and syncing, loved the colors, the concept, the vibe peaceful / bittersweet, just an all around awesome animation!
Props, I wish there mere more like this, this is the type of stuff that make this community worth it, I might even be inspired to re-take this animation thing.

too similar, but good

I'm guessing your inspiration was "future" by celarent right? I can't blame you, it's one of my favorites, it's really fun to watch. I'm not saying this is a copy, but it might be a bit too inspired by "future" you know. Anyways I do appreciate the effort put into this and it is fun to watch, you have potential so I hope you get into that school and develop something that is a bit more you. I hope to see more from you soon, getting ideas and inspiration from others is both good and useful, just make sure that whatever you're portraying comes off as mostly -you-.

mmm I didn't really like it

Yes, I am bit biased when it comes tom anime-ish stuff on newgrounds, It's not a style I really appreciate, but I can respect it at times. I'm not saying I don't respect yours, It's obvious you put effort into it and just because of that it deserves some respect, BUT: I didn't feel the characters or story were very original (although obviously more original then mario or sonic or most sprites... can't believe how much of that there is), but their whole outfit and ears and tails and hair and... well, all in general, it seems just like a mix and match of all anime work out there on newgrounds. The story as well -a weird quirky relationship where one is all stuck up and serious, while the other is all jumpy and cutesy- see what I mean, its quite cliche'd. Sometimes a cliche can be executed so awesomely that it works, but I don't think this is the case, and I don't think it should be what you're aiming for.

Anyways, it seems like you enjoy this sort of thing and are willing to get better everytime, so I hope to see more from you in the future. And if you consider what I mentioned before, try to dig a bit deeper, maybe put a bit more of you in it or think of a more unique perspective or experience. Of course I'm no expert on the subject, (I haven't been frontpaged like you haha), but I hope my advice helps.

Nice try and intention

Hi there, I really like your intention with this movie, and I guess you already know some of your faults, I'll comment briefly on it anyways. The sound is a MAYOR issue, the effects are of low quality and the characters themselves have no sounds, I know that having voice actors or effects can be very complicated or just impossible (i haven't used them myself), but how about some decent background music to set a mood? There's a bunch of it on the audio portal.
About the animation, waaay too many tweens, and that wouldn't be so bad, but the movements you did with it are very unnatural, too linear and mechanic.
Details matter, for example making the fire-y head move somewhat naturally in a repeating movie clip, the same with the water head of the girl.
Keep practicing, continue your characters further, and think about what I've mentioned.

I loved it, each section had something interesting and appealing about it, I loved the color selection, and I thought the animation style was fun, like the sketch of a fully done animation, and i kind of dig "sketchy style". The rap was very funny and unexpected, the tree's expressions and personalities just fit with their names, I thought that was specially awesome. My least favorite part was the dialogue with the fish, tough I really loved how the animation started, and the dialogue was a bit funny ,but not enough to compensate how slowly they were talking.

I liked it, probably I'll fav it.. it's not something I see very often around here.

I'm always surprised by the way you handle color ,character design, story line, and specially the timing for your movement... it's always a pleasure to watch. But then again I am not so surprised since it is always great.

Eres de los animadores más impresionantes aquí en mi opinion, en gran parte por la creatividad de tu trabajo. Por cierto, hice un flash acerca de un personaje hace un rato, muy pareceido a uno de los que apareció en esta animación, es el personaje principal de una animación que hice, She-Spider, que vive en un castillo arriba de un tubo enorme y usa una máscara de metal gris... cuando vi la casa arriba de un tubo en esta animación casi esperaba verlo jajaja, y el wey que salió tenia una mascara parecida

That was very very well done, with that description I expected a very crappy animation, but it was fluid, the characters were good, the story... damn cute, it was a great job all around... De que hablas, animas muy bien! De hecho.. donde aprendiste a animar así?
